Fitness can feel intimidating, especially when it's portrayed as lifting heavy weights in a gym or chugging protein shakes. But that's only one version. The truth is that fitness is much broader and more personal. Many people don't realize they are practicing the value of fitness in small ways, like making healthier food choices and going for small walks. The value of fitness is in creating a lifestyle that supports both your body and confidence. Most of us want to live in a body we feel strong, healthy, and proud of and learning the value of fitness is the first step in taking control and feeling best.  


Fitness Builds Confidence, One Step at a Time

Confidence doesn’t come from looking a certain way. It comes from keeping promises to yourself, showing up consistently, and proving you’re capable even when it’s hard. Making the choice to show-up and begin can be the hardest part. Knowing where to start or what to follow can make that process much easier or less frightening. 

Below is a simple checklist of actions you can take today. You might already be doing some of these without even realizing they count as part of your fitness journey: 

  • Make an effort to get some extra steps in your day
  • Make one healthy food or drink choice
